Who made this product? Begun in 1986 in Lima, Peru, the founders of Allpa envisioned an organization dedicated to finding artisans and sharing their talents with the world.
Why is it ethical? Sobremesa by Greenheart works directly with the artisans to ensure fair trade principles are upheld. Their artisans hand weave and hand crotchet alpaca, sheared with no harm to the animal. The blended throws they produce are lighter and warmer than wool.
