Survival Spanish for Travelers!
6 weeks of Conversational Spanish Lessons
When: Wednesday evenings, 5:45-6:45 pm, June 3rd - July 8th
Where: Greenheart Shop 746 N LaSalle
Suggested donation $5 per class
Want to travel and don't speak any Spanish? Join us for fun, informal Spanish lessons focusing on: Getting Around, Health and Safety, Shopping and Eating, and Common Phrase and Verbs. Join us for one class, or all six! Drop-ins welcome.

Fundraiser for Indlovu Center
At Citizen Bar (rooftop patio)
When: Wednesday, June 17th from 5:30 - 7:30 pm
Where: Citizen Bar (rooftop patio), 364 W. Erie (btw Sedgwick & Orleans)
Cost: $20
The Indlovu Center provides meals, medical attention, child care services, teen services, love, and support to the Monwabisi Park Township near Cape Town, South Africa. For more information about the center, visit www.shaster.org.za.
Join us for complimentary 312, Shiner, and Stella draft beer, door prizes, and raffles! Donations buy building materials and medical supplies, which will enable the rebuilding of the Indlovu Center's clinic that burned to the ground in November, 2008.

Storytelling for the Planet!
When: Saturday, June 20th; 11am - noon
Where: Greenheart Shop, 746 N LaSalle
Tim Magner, Chicago author of three new children's books, will be in the Greenheart Shop reading from his stories. His books, "N is for Nature", "Earl the Earthworm Digs for His Life", and "An Environmental Guide from A to Z" all teach children important lessons about nature and the environment. The books are each beautifully illustrated and printed with natural vegetable ink. Appropriate for ages 4-9.
