Golden Grass, as it is popularly known, is in fact a flowering plant, Syngonanthus nitens, native of a savanna-like region in central Brazil. The uniqueness of golden grass resides in its innate stunningly golden sheen. This natural shiny plant is a delicate and light weight fiber that can be woven in to shapes and objects.
Golden grass is a pure vegetable material from a renewable source that grows naturally without use of pesticides or other toxic products. After it is harvested, golden grass is left to dry in the shade until it’s ready to be woven into exquisite accessories.
No chemicals, dyes, or coatings are applied to the raw material during the crafting process. The inherently stunning golden grass can be appreciated in its most natural beauty.
