This fair trade mug was made through Mitra Bali, a non-profit organization on the mostly-Hindu island of Bali, which provides marketing and export assistance to family workshops producing handcrafts. Mitra Bali works with about 100 producer groups which employ over 1,000 men and women, in order to help them in marketing their products and improve their working conditions. Mitra Bali is committed to the artisans, providing them a fair wage and respect.
