Cinnamon bark tea box

This tea box is made out of cinnamon bark and has rough natural sides. It has the Vietnamese symbol for prosperity and good luck intricately carved on a smooth sanded lid.

This fair trade product was made through Mai Handicrafts in Vietnam, a program aimed at helping street children in Ho Chi Minh City. Mai provides work for the children's mothers and older sisters to help improve family income and well-being. Eighty percent of the artisans are women and earn twice the average annual income.
