"I create my own my own business with the help of God and my friends. With that I bring my support to members of my family. My father taught me how to be a man because he did not have enough money to give me. About my mother I can say it is the wonderful mom that someone can have. I am from Thomazeau and [went back to school] to continue my schooling I encounter exactly the profession which I love most, is the metal sculpture. I have some workers with me and we work every day."

Beautiful work of art. The reason I give 4 stars instead of 5 is because it would be nice to choose from a selection of larger pieces - the same sort of metal, recycled oil drum, ethical art from Haiti but bigger. I know in the actual shop, which I visited in Chicago, There were 4 by 1 foot panels that were absolutely beautiful (if much more pricey at $300 or so), but they were quite a statement piece. I'm assuming Greenheart doesn't sell them online because they would be an ordeal to ship.

At any rate, even these smaller pieces, the craftsmanship of the Haitian artisans is of very high quality. I'll be coming back for more!
