This fair trade hand painted cup was made by artisans from Kashmir, where they are able to work in their own homes. They were made through Nkuku, a fair trade company that creates products that combine contemporary designs with age-old techniques, natural materials and sustainable methods of production to ensure each product is truly exceptional. Nkuku is committed to fair trade – their artisans are paid a fair wage for their work, working conditions are safe and a good standard, and no children are exploited.

    Great cups. Not only beautiful, but durable. My 1 and 4 year d are trying their. Est to destroy them. No luck yet (4months)! I have bought 2 sets as gifts and receive many compliments on them. My only criticism is that when drinking water it can smell/taste a tad metallic.

    These cups are beautiful and very durable. Stainless steel makes it impossible for small children to accidentally break them. I have had my cups for approximatley one month now, and the paint is staying on without issue. I do hand wash the cups as recommended. These are not meant to be placed in the dishwasher.

    Also, the customer service is great at Greenheart. Two of the cups came with defective paint. One cup was chipped and the other had slightly bubbled. I called Greenheart and they exchanged the cups. They were very friendly and made the process simple. I would definitely buy from them again.
