Cuchareros

Translated into "Spoonmakers," Cuchareros' Guatemalan artisan community was founded in 2000 to help health promoters and farmers create additional income to their social programs and families.

Using their gifted talents in woodcarving, these artisans create unique serving utensils without the aid of any electric tools. The Cuchareros artisans have worked hard to establish sustainable social programs for their communities while taking special care to preserve the local forests using only certified wood sources.
